The Ferry from Anacortes to Friday Harbor
Vehicle reservations are required in advance
Reservations are released in waves, starting in mid April (spaces fill up quickly)
• Roche Harbor is a 20-minute drive from Friday Harbor
• If arriving the day of the wedding - reserve the earliest departure time available in case of unexpected ferry delays
• Arrive at the terminal no later than 1.5 hours prior to departure
• The experience begins once you set sail! Check out the beautiful views from the top deck on your journey to the island

Taking the trolley?
For guests staying in Friday Harbor
Departure from Friday Harbor:
• Pick-up: Memorial Park on 8/7/2026 at 2:45 PM
• Arrival: Roche Harbor Resort at 3:30 PM
Departure from Roche Harbor Resort:
• Pick-up: Resort front desk (departure times will be announced towards the end of the evening)
• Arrival: Friday Harbor (time TBD)
What should I wear?
Formal Attire | Black Tie Optional
Think suits, ties, cocktail dresses, and your best evening wear! Please avoid jeans, hats, t-shirts, flannels & tennis shoes
The ceremony will be in the garden lawn, we recommend block heels or wedges for your comfort
Are children allowed?
The wedding & reception will be an adults-only celebration
Do I need to stay overnight?
Staying overnight is not required, but highly encouraged
We recommend staying the night before & the night of the wedding to fully enjoy the celebration. The island has so much to offer!
Please note:
• Our reception will end at 11:00 PM
• The last ferry departs at 10:00 PM from Friday Harbor (20 minute drive from Roche Harbor) & may be subject to unexpected delays
